1. Design Team Integration

We provide advice across the design team including:

  • Advice to the architects on the Server and Hub Room requirements to ensure an output specification and British Standard compliant rooms

  • Advice to M&E on cable zones

  • Advice to M&E on Teaching Wall layouts following client meetings and gaining an understanding of the school/Trust pedagogy and other ICT requirements

  • Advice to M&E on heat outputs within Server and Hub rooms and throughout the buildings

  • Advice to FF&E on ICT equipment location requirements

2. CEM's

Attendance and presentations at Client Engagement Meetings to ensure the schools ICT strategy is understood and incorporated into the building design.

3. Network Design

We produce a full detailed network design document that includes:

  • Scope of Works

  • Cabinet Elevations (Front and Back including connectivity)

  • Network Topology (including all connectivity)

  • VLANs and IP Subnet Information

  • Wireless Heat Maps

  • Patching Schedule

  • Power Outputs

  • UPS/PDU Connectivity

4. Draft CP's / ITT

We produce a set of fully output specification compliant DfE deliverables, including:

  • Full written response to every Design Brief/SSB requirement

  • Wireless Heat Maps

  • ICT Cost Matrix

  • ICT Equipment Schedule

  • Logical Network Diagram 

  • Cabinet Elevations

  • ICT elements of the Construction Programme

We also provide detailed advice, following engagement with the school/Trust to M&E to be able to produce:

  • Teaching Wall Layout 

  • Server and Hub Room Layouts

  • Cable runs between Server and Hub Room

We provide support and advice required for any clarifications raised.

5. Small Power & Data

 

We produce a full detailed network design document that includes:

  • Scope of Works

  • Cabinet Elevations (Front and Back including connectivity)

  • Network Topology (including all connectivity)

  • VLANs and IP Subnet Information

  • Wireless Heat Maps

  • Patching Schedule

  • Power Outputs

  • UPS/PDU Connectivity

6. CP's

We produce a set of fully output specification compliant DfE deliverables, including:

7. Construction

We project manage the entire ICT process through the construction phase including:

  • ICT Kick Off Meeting

  • Detailed Network Design Meeting (DfE Sign Off required)

  • Decant Meeting (full coordination with the Construction Programme)

  • Server/Hub Room Readiness (DfE sign off required prior to ICT installation)

  • Teacher Wall (Sign off to ensure teaching wall principles are accurate)

  • Monthly progress reporting

  • User Acceptance Testing (DfE sign off required before building handover)

  • RAMS

8. ICT Installation

We provide all OS compliant ICT /AV equipment and installation, including:

  • Core and Edge Switching

  • Wireless Access Points

  • Fly and Patch Leads

  • VoIP Telephone solutions

  • UPS

  • AV Faceplates and cable looms. AV fly leads.

  • Classroom AV equipment (Interactive and non-interactive screens)

  • Main Hall AV equipment (Lectern, speakers, screen, projector and all cabling to control points) 

  • We provide all the co-ordination of the ordering (working with the school/Trust) and installation of broadband and telephone lines (site registration, ducting etc and installation on-site)

  • We provide OS compliant Telephone system and handsets

All EVR personnel hold DBS, CSCS/SSSTS cards

9. Decant

We produce a full decant service including:

  • A schedule of legacy and new legacy devices

  • Condition survey's of the legacy equipment

  • Labelling of equipment to be decanted

  • Physical decant all ICT equipment (fully insured)

  • Testing on all equipment prior to decant and post decant

10. Practical Completion

We provide a full UAT and handover service including:

  • Full O&M Manual for all ICT/AV solutions

  • Full training for all ICT/AV solutions

  • Full User Acceptance Tests, witnessed and signed off by the DfE

  • Full handover document to the School/Trust including configuration files and asset register

  • On-going support and warranty details

  • Snagging
